Trust and safety
Icon is a small UK business. Here's who runs it, how your account and your customers' details are looked after, and how to reach a real person.
Who runs Icon
- Business
- Icon, run by Nik Mishin as a sole trader
- Address
- Haulfryn, Ffordd-y-Gyfraith, Bridgend, CF32 0BS, Wales, United Kingdom
- icon.adminteam@gmail.com
Your account
- Everything travels over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
- Database rules mean each account can only open its own work.
- Icon's passwords and keys for its providers live only on Icon's servers, never in the app or the website.
- We check the whole app's code for security holes before big updates.
Payments
- Card payments are handled by Stripe. Icon never sees a full card number.
- When your customers pay for a booking, the money goes straight to your own Stripe account. Icon never holds it.
- Plans can be cancelled any time in the app, as easily as you signed up.
Your data
- We never sell your data or use it for advertising.
- Our AI providers (Anthropic and OpenAI) don't train their models on what you send through Icon.
- Calls made through Icon aren't recorded.
- Ask for a copy of your data, or for your account to be deleted, any time. Deleted accounts are gone within 30 days, and from backups within a further 90.
Our rules
- No fake reviews, ratings or numbers, ever. Anything we quote is real and shared with permission.
- Car trackers are only for your own vehicle, or with the owner's consent.
- Trade+ is a learning tool, not financial advice.
- Sales calls and offers to customers need their permission, and people can always say stop.
